Hi Daisy,

Thanks a bunch for your response and for the excellent recipes you share with us.

I received an e-mail from Jane Alphonso who suggested using Tilda Easy Cook American
long grain rice. I believe it's just like the Goa rice. I haven't tried it yet. Will let you know
the results when I try the recipe.

I tried the kulfi recipe with fresh mangoes. Since I wasn't sure of the measure of
the cool whip cream it didn't turn out the way it should because I used the larger tub. The
mangoes were not sweet either. However, that didn't keep my family, friends, and co-workers from enjoying it to the point of licking the ice-cream cups.

Hi Florina,

I am note sure you can make saanas without rice but a
friend of mine from South India suggests using ground
urad dhal and coconut - the taste will not be same but
you may get the same consistency. I have not tried it
yet, if you get a chance to try it out, let me know
how it turns out.

Thanks
Daisy
