Since this sudden interest in compiling a list of Goan Catholic surnames has come up on GoaNet I would like to share a few (rather juvenile) Goan surname jokes that were popular in the late nineteen eighties.
These jokes are much better in proper spoken narration than in writing. It's all in the telling, with the correct emphasis.
What do you call a Goan who farts softly? Disssssouza!
What do you call a Goan who farts loudly? Ferrrrrrnandes!
What do you call a Goan who just stepped into some bullshit? Pacccchhhhheco!
etc.
There are many more in a similar thread which I don't remember, because they were rather trite.

These surname jokes faded out of popularity with the evolution of Churchill Jokes in the early nineteen nineties. Everyone knows "On what grounds. On Fatorda Grounds of course!" and "I'm not joking! I'm Churchill. Joaquim is my brother!". But there are some rare gems on this series that are not so well known.
For example this classic below which will only be understood by people knowing Konkani and actual life in Goa very well:
----- Churchill is being interviewed on Goa Doordarshan.
"Sir, what is your opinion on Youth and Society in Goa?"
"Amche tornate Goenchen nav voir kaddtat. Te khuimcheai sportsan vantto gheun inam joddtat. Ani shikpak... ani sogglech toren bori asat. Society? Societichem uloich naka! Tanu melona, sakor melona..."
