Young Filmmakers Competition

Those of you who've been tuning in to the programme, or visiting the
website in the past few months know we've been running a competition for
aspiring young filmmakers. The competition was open to anyone aged
between 18 and 30 and they were asked to submit a short film not
exceeding two and a half minutes in length. Let me say I was very
surprised and inspired by the quality of entries we received from around
the world.

The film that the Jury ranked in second place was rather different, a
reality based short from 28 year old Priya Pinto in Dubai called
'Invisible'. It presents us with an elevator operator all but invisible
to the diverse group of individuals who travel between floors.
