One does not need to know Portuguese or like the Portuguese to want to go to
Portugal. Architect K.D.Sadhale found a short cut toa free trip to Portugal
via the Fundacao by criticising the "Portuguese barbarians" at a function
sponsored by F.O. in Goa. If every critic of Portugal and things Portuguese
in Goa is given a free,'educative' tour of Portugal , then their tribe will
be a legion. It would have been nice if the Fridays events were held last
year; Rajendra Velingkar might have been watching the finals of EUFA Cup in
Iberia. Even if he was not born during the colonial era, he loves football.
Nageshbab could have taught him a few words in Portuguese...if his
father[who speaks good Portuguese] refused.

Viva Goa.

Miguel
