Hi Mervyn, Many thanks for the info you sent on Dar bands of the 1950s/60s. I also kindly got a lot of detail yesterday from Tony Barros. I did eventually, figure out the name of the DeMello Brothers' from Dar-- the Band which played alongside my group in Mombasa in 1959/60. They were called the Modernaires then but I know that names changed over time with different personnel.
