Hi Lawrie, I mostly use non-graphical (faster, less-distracting!) and Mozilla based on GNU/Linux. But there have been some very interesting comments on the Firefox recently. Have you tried it?

Firefox is one of the best browser compared to n other browsers. I have used IE, netscape,etc.. but nothing to beat firefox. But it still has one important bug. i.e. it has no javapulgin and flash player, so many objects do not open in firefox.
one can download and load the plugin, for many newbies, it would pose a daunting task to download ( given our speeds etc..) and load it.

We use Firefox here in the office on all machines and thin clients and for the past year and half have been forcing all our clients to shift to firefox. In fact our main software product works "only" in firefox. :)
Flash plugin is available and needs to be downloaded.
