it still is hard to believe that there will be this Goan tiatr in Lisbon, Leiria and Porto sporting complexes, as it is extremely difficult to get these places booked (major sports clubs play in them almost every day). And even the hall has a capacity for several thousand people!
And then, considering that the show with Lorna (in Lisbon, in August) and her troupe only gathered some few hundred people, I ignore how you will be able to bring together so many people (Goans are sure not enough to fill the halls) as this kind of show is not very known in Portugal.
Please do get me right: I am a staunch defender of bringing genuine popular cultural troupes from Goa coming to Portugal (especially in Konkani) but I remember insisting for over 2 weeks with the Casa de Goa association (Lisbon) to convince them that it would be worth bringing Lorna to Lisbon (and the costs were not high at all - the problem, many told me, was if it was "worth", because they fail to understand that this is one of the genuine elements of Goa's cultural identity and igore Konkani, as most Goans in Portugal).
Please let me know if you need any help in preparing the tour in case it really goes forward. I will be glad to help you as I think it is an excellent idea.
