Tim,
A Goan Catholic has to be totally deaf, dumb and blind
to not be able to see all the misery that the claim to
be of a certain caste has caused in the community.  I
have seen it among Hindus as well.

If it hasn't happened to you, it has happened to
someone you know, and it is a despicable form of
discrimination.
