An excellent post on Hinduism.
Although a Catholic by religion, and having never lived in India even though I was born there (my mother travelled from Kenya to give birth because of the primitive conditions then obtaining in Kenya), I still feel close to the cultural Hindu way of life.


However, you say:
"I think it would be possible to be brought up a Catholic and be one culturally without continuing to accept that there is a God."


I do not agree with you here. To me it is an anachronism - and I doubt if you will find much support for that concept.
