Tariq, Can we please stop the incessant personal attacks by you, Santosh and George any time you disagree with a subject? The three of you seem to feed off one another's equally personal attacks. Even if someone else has done it, let their comments reflect on them, and not use their comments as a means of avoiding the subject. Personal attacks do not add to the debate. I have not seen any comments by either of you responding to the points made in the original posting on this subject with specific facts or opinions of your own. My biggest questions, which no one seems to want to answer, is, what did you see in pre-liberation Iraq that attracted you so much that you so strongly oppose the regime change of Saddam Hussein? What do you think life was like for the Shia and Kurds that make up 75% of the population? Finally, regardless of WMDs, oil-for-food scandals, broken UN resolutions, etc. why do you so stridently oppose the opportunity for the Iraqi people to live in freedom and democracy, which you obviously enjoy for yourself? --- Tariq Siddiqui <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: ########################################################################## > # If Goanet stops reaching you, contact > [EMAIL PROTECTED] # > # Want to check the archives? > http://www.goanet.org/pipermail/goanet/ # > # Please keep your discussion/tone polite, to > reflect respect to others # > ########################################################################## > > > --- Chris Vaz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > One of the correspondents even had the nerve to > taunt that GWB should be > >president of Iraq/Afghanistan for liberating those > two countries from > >Islamofascist terrorism! > > I am truly sorry that my light hearted remark was > taken so seriously by you that you > just cannot get over it.
