Daman/Surat: The chilling acts in the Iraqi prison of Abu Gharib that shook the world came to haunt four migrant workers in the Union Territory, who were reportedly beaten up on Wednesday by six policemen in a drunken state.

Later they were stripped and force to indulge in homosexual acts with each other at gunpoint.

N S Shirodkar, assistant sub-inspector of the Pataliya police outpost, where the incident reportedly took place, was suspended and an inqury was ordered.

The victims are Sunil Yadav (35), Madan Singh Yadav (24), Manoj Kumar (32) and Raju Singh (19), all migrants from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh who work as drivers with a local transport company.

According to a complaint by Sunil Yadav, they were sleeping in the godown of the owner of the company in Bhimpore Patel Falia when six policemen swooped down on them past midnight.....
