Goa BJP MLA Digambar Kamat resigns Press Trust of India/Panaji, February 24|11:52 IST Prominent BJP MLA Digambar Kamat on Friday resigned from his seat just a few days ahead of the Rane Government's confidence vote in Goa Assembly on February 28.
Kamat handed over his resignation to Legislature Secretary Sudhir Narvekar and will be addressing a press conference with GPCC President Luisinio Falerio at 1200 hrs. Kamat was considered next-in-line to former Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.
