New Delhi: The Centre on Friday decided to impose President's rule in Goa, Home Minister Shivraj Patil said.
The Assembly will be kept under suspended animation.
These decisions were taken at a hurriedly-called meeting of the Union cabinet, hours after Chief Minister Pratapsinh Rane won a controversial vote of confidence in the Assembly with the help of the pro tem Speaker's casting vote.
