U yourself agreed with me a while ago, that 'casteism in India is also 'racist' being genetic origin based! How right u are; so why not u join in and 'reform' this age old caste linked racism and other idiosyncracies in the ancient Indian culture. Don't U see that these unchallenged dirty things/ norms in this culture are responsible for most of our bad thoughts and stupid philosophy and vile actions.
I am not equating with evils in other cultures. U r. Have some serious introspection!! Santosh u r capable of rising to the occassion! Arise and then walk with your 'head upright'.
Reforming Indian culture does not mean "equating with fundamentalism or colonialism or the bad things in other cultures"; that is what u seem to think. R U saying there is no way out, to a better reformed culture, without saying: like George Bush: "either u are with us or against us" ???? R U ???
I hope not; Then join in and tell the powers that be that just because it is ancient does not mean that it is good. In fact it is bad, very bad, and certainly not in keeping with 21st century thought and aims, world wide.
Only after the "Reformation of this (H) Indu culture will Indian society as a whole be rid of the problems facing Indian society. Why R U comparing with Australia and USA and Europe. Just look around u at India's Asian neighbors. They dont have , nor have they inherited any of the stupidities that are prevailing in India. Come on now Santosh, admit that your culture is medieval and not in tune with modern times!

Why does this guy mindlessly equate the ancient Indian culture that we inherit with a fundamentalist religious and political ideology of the present era?
