The term Mongoloid (formerly) used to describe Down's Syndrome has been removed from use for that purpose, a good 20+ years ago.
Mongoloid is exactly what it means -> Mongol + oid i.e. Mongol + resembling.
While almost all Mongolians are Mogoloid, Not ALL Mongoloids are Mongolians. Eskimos and certain AmerIndians (the so-called Red Indians) also are Mongoloid.
