BJP president L.K. Advani's plan to take the party back to RSS
standards may get the stamp of approval at the party's National
Executive meeting in the capital today.

At the meeting the party will take a look at its 25-year-old history
to acknowledge how it transformed the national political scene from
having just two seats to leading a coalition at the Centre.

The party is trying to find the possibility of an NDA government in
Bihar, and is likely to discuss the same at the meeting.

The BJP wants to portray the sense of hopefulness through a political
resolution. So, the top brass of BJP will discuss its political future
at length.

"The agenda that will be discussed in the meeting has been finalised.
There will be a presidential address and the President will then look
at other key issues," said party leader Arun Jaitley.

The growing population of the country is an issue of concern for BJP,
and many leaders of the Sangh Pariwar want to deal with it firmly.
Thus, a special mention of controlling the population explosion will
expectedly be made at the National Executive meeting.

Now, with Advani's declaration that the party would never compromise
on its ideology, the real challenge for BJP is to balance the past
with the future. (ANI)
