In 1991, it had 69,309 foreign tourists and 9.48 lakh domestic tourists. In 2004, the figure increased to 3.43 lakh and 59.75 lakh respectively. > In 2003 Kerala was just behind Goa with 295K foreign tourists (vs 315K). The 2004 figure of 343K represents a nearly 15% increase in one year. Anybody know what Goa achieved in the same period? Hope it is a creditable performance.
