Hello, I am forwarding this e-mail sent by Dr.Carlos & Celia DeMello <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Prayers were asked for Benjamin Viegas, originally from Candolim but works at UAE. There was a flood of prayers that rocked the doors of our Precious Lord, and the Lord had mercy on Benjamin. The Merciful Lord has touched Benjamin and he is recovering.
"This is the confidence which we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us." (1 John 5:14) In all difficulties and hardships it is only through the exercise of our faith and trust in God, through the medium of prayer - our communication line with God; that we can experience His power working in our lives. When we pray we are not only acknowledging God as almighty but also submitting ourselves to His will, believing that He will do only what is good for us. "Seek the LORD while he may be found, call upon him while he is near;" (Isaiah 55:6) Our God is closest to us when we are going through trying times, so do not give in to despair but look up to Him in prayer and hope. He will take away all the cares of your heart and you Arlette Azavedo Mapuca. Dear all, From: Carlos & Celia DeMello <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: pat demelo Subject: Re: Benjamin Date: Fri, 27 May 2005 12:46:01 +0400 This is to inform each and everyone of you that our friend Benjamin Viegas has improved and is out of ICU. Thanks for all for your prayers which has worked wonders and has opened the doors for his recovery. Some of you might not be aware that his condition was quite serious and he was in a semicomatose state. Acute pancreatites with all its complications is quite serious and many a times is life threatening. I do visit him daily and has seen the progress and steady recovery. The doctors in Saqr and Saif hospitals were quite good and cooperative. Today Benjamin will be moving out of ICU and will be transferred to Saif hospital. He is talking and is taking his food orally, his breathing too has become normal. We will look forward to see him back home very soon. I thank all on CGN and Goanet for your prayers and good wishes for his recovery. Dr. DeMello
