Cuncolim union won the ambelim panchayat cup defeating ICSC paroda 4-0 at ambelim grounds yesterday evening.
At the end of half time play the winners led 2-0. Promising striker Wesley Coutinho again proved to be nemesis of the opposite team with twin strikes in the first half. Substitute rohan dessai and mazwin amnnaa completed the tally. The winners collected Rs.10000 and the runners up Rs. 8000 Cuncolim MLA Joaquim alemao did not turn up for the finals instead vice chairperson Veena Fernandes was the chief guest.
