I'll be surprised if this works! Bikes on the other hand are allowed via KCRC, although not all stations have the facility. I took my bike to Cochin a few months ago from Madgaon station (the Old Goa halt was too short to do the load) and the cost was Rs 1,200/-. Better than riding the entire 800+km journey!
