Cajetan I do not know Sujay Gupta and have met Manohar Parrikar twice. I am a neutral party in this matter. Having said that, I fail to see how Sujay's non-acceptance of YOUR invitation warrants the subject line "Sorry State of the Goan Press." Is Sujay the entire Goan press? I think a public forum with the leaders of ALL parties would be a good idea, including editors of all major newspapers. That would be democracy at work and a true public forum and a service to the people. Currently, your proposal strikes me as limited at best, at worst a verbal boxing match where nothing will be gained.
