Yes I do - went for many a ride with my Dad when I was a tiny tot, and one of the last ones was circa 15th December 1961 (because there were no taxis - all having been commandeered by the Portuguese miltary in a defensive effort), when my Dad and I went to the Hospital (Hospital Escolar as it was known then) to visit my new-born cousin. BTW, on a nostalgic note, what is now known as Bandodkar Marg (ex-Avenida do Brasil) had those pendant street-lights strung across two poles on either side of the street, of the type that can be found today at Institue Menezes Braganza hall - only wider and having a shiny metallic dome. Still got a postcard of the area of those days. Cheers, Gabriel de Figueiredo. Melbourne - Australia. Send instant messages to your online friends http://au.messenger.yahoo.com
