Must admire you for having such a sharp memory! As mine is not that good I
referred to Latin Grammar by Fr.A.Jean and on page79 it says that "Nasci" is
an intransitive deponent verb(not impersonal)  under the heading 'conjugate
like Sequor' and its meaning is given as "to be born".Prior to that on page
73 it says that "deponent verbs are conjugated like passive verbs; that is
some like amor, others like moneor..." AS for "ad majora" it is I think
perfectly correct which is plural of "ad majorem".
