Lusofonic countries extend from the East to West of this globe. This year's fest saw thousands of visitors at the precints of the Carmo Church in Macau.
>From music provided by rap group called Da Weasel, Terrakota and dance by the supple samba girls. Our own Goencho Dança and Cantar groups regaled with songs such as Canção de Niz Goencar, Dekni and creoled Damão and Diu songs viz Rio Sandalcalo and Diwan da Mográ. Gastronomic delights were in plenty besides the caipirinha and amchem caju feni for taste. The three days of Lusofonia fest was truly colourful and friendly unlike the Tomatina thingies from Spain.
