When I first came on holiday to Goa 9 years ago the airport was a bad joke. Long queues, miserable staff, but in the last 2-3 years we've noticed a real improvement. The only fault I can find is that a lot of work seems to be duplicated - how many people does it take to check one piece of hand luggage? - but I feel this is rather typical of Goa in general (sorry everyone!).
