Today's HERALD has an interesting report titled "Goa is world's fourth hottest X'mas spot" this year among Britons. Tenerife, Barbados and Sharm al Shaikh Egypt are the top three. Bangkok with whom Goa is often dubiously compared ranks 8th. Bali, the other place mentioned in the same breath as Bangok vis a vis Goa does not figure in the top ten at all.
Another survey mentioned in the same report says that Goa (5th) figures in the top ten for 2006.
