Recently Goa dairy announced a price hike but they have the gall and the cheek to still use their stock of old plastic milk bags, with the old price ,printed on it.In effect,we have to pay more than the MRP printed on the milk bag. This is in direct violation of the legal Metrology rules. Today it is Goa Dairy,tomorrow it will be something else.Unless goans are vigilant,unless we protest ,we will just get taken for a ride.There have been a few raids on shops by the Metrology dept,shop keepers have been fined but the main culprit is Goa dairy .It will take a sustained campaign by the people to stop unfair practices.
