22 Jan. The Sunday Times. Columnist Christa D'Souza writes "Big Daddy spends a lot of his time worrying what would happen to his little fritter-bird (that's me) if he ever got run over by a bus." On 15 Jan she wrote: "My 75-year-old dad raised himself from his sickbed in Surbiton last week to tell me Nick [her partner] had better hurry up and marry me, because if Nick didn't, then he might have to." Christa's parents are Stanley D'Souza and the Baroness Frances D'Souza. Stanley, who was born in Bombay, eloped with Frances to Toronto when she was 16.
