Gilbert, I have no reason to cross swords with you. This is a serious situation, to which sneers are not a solution. All I asked was the other side of the sorry story, since you would have more inside knowledge of the workings of the Indian Navy and obviously some influence as well. A contract is a contract - is it not? So what are the reasons for the Navy to renege on it? Doesn't the Navy have an open day? Since the feast days (2 in number) are fixed days (not movable, like Easter), cannot the Navy make an allowance for those two calendar dates and transform them into "open days" for the sake of the visiting pilgrims?
