Dear all: Hope many of you have been watching our "Contacto Goa" TV series on RTP International and RTP-Africa. Based on the experience of three episodes that have aired thus far, the main (and very understandable) complaint weâve received from viewers is that the programs start earlier or later than scheduled times. The worst cases were 7 minutes early and 25 minutes late!!! Please understand we (the producers) have no control over this and have expressed to RTP the displeasure of viewers about this lack of exactness. We understand that people in Portugal were able to see our third episode via cable, on RTP-Africa, at 18:30 hours Lisbon time, on Feb 26, 2006. This is expected to continue every SECOND Sunday going forward, until late July 2006. The next two episodes will be on Mar 12 and 26, 2006. Regarding for the broadcast on RTP International, further episodes will be broadcast every SECOND Sunday/Monday (twice a month), at the same times (8:15 PM on Sunday and 10:00 AM on Monday), until late July 2006. The next two episodes will be on Mar 12/13 and 26/27, 2006. When possible, we will try to send one-line summaries of the stories in each episode a few days prior to the broadcast date. Also, there have been some queries about the availability of the series on DVD or in English. We will encourage RTP to make these available at the end of the series â but there are no guarantees that they will. Unfortunately, we cannot send copies of these episodes to viewers on request for legal reasons. Please spread the word, remind people and keep watching! Thanks for your support. Warm regards, The Contacto Goa Team (Desmond Nazareth, Nalini Elvino de Sousa, and Christopher Rego) EPISODE 4 Stories ANCESTRAL GOA: Travel back in time at this open air museum, to Goa the way it used to be a hundred years ago VAMONA GANESH NAVELKAR: Meet a Goan artist with a Portuguese past who paints poetry with his brush PORTUGUESE SINGING COMPETITION: Let some of Goa's best young singing talent enthral you with their soulful Portuguese melodies ============================================================= Queridos amigos: Espero que tenham estado a seguir o programa "Contacto Goa" na RTPi e na RTP Africa.
