"gilbert menezes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: < <As per Govt. of India regulations, families of serving personnel are PERMITTED TO PAY for use of military transport, on condition of availability at the military station where they are based.>

JC again:

Having read Gabriel's post, I reask the question I asked and add some more:

1: Would Mr. Menezes please direct me to the Govt. of India regulation which enables / PERMITS families of serving personnel TO PAY for use of military transport ?

Must say that I find the phrase " personnel are PERMITTED TO PAY" quite intriguing.

2: As Mr. Menezes is in the know (apparently) .... How does a civilian go about making a case of Tort or whatever, against a member of the Armed Forces who commits a criminal act or one of megligence?

3: Does Mr. Menezes know How many such incidents have occured, How many have been reported, How they have been dealt with .....or is this all part of the "Securitas" Excusé Moi ?

4: How does Mr. Menezes fell ...not only as an Armed Forces man (be it ex) but also as a fair (I hope) man .... IS IT FAIR that the Armed Forces should get subsidized stuff from the "Canteen" but not the following

a: Doctors
b: Police
c: Law abiding Bus Drivers in Goa
d: Law abiding Pedestrians in Goa
e: Law abiding two-wheel riders
f: Law abiding elderly
g: Law abiding residents of Dabolim and vicinity

Does he believe that their life is any less dangerous than that of the chaps in Dabolim ?

Eventually, we might ask him IF it is legal to "Quiet a Title" ?
