Thanks Joe , though i did not read what other's say with curiosity , but
your last words "Come out from the hidings.Other wise, we see some lengthy
and sometimes boring postings.
Just take the recent case of 'Cartoon on Muhamad' see how the community
worldwide come forward to show their protest etc.
And we..??
We are not talking about the cartoon here but a Priest murder..
made me realise how petty minded we are. "were really touching very true in
every sense .
Why we are not very much concerned about this issue , is mainly because
(GOD FORBID) neither of our family members /friends/ relatives brothers,
sisters, uncles, aunties etc have been victims of such a tragic incidnet.
Each one for himself God for all, due to our crab mentality behaviour our
minds are confined to the well being of ourselves nothing beyond that, and
the Police knows it very well, if Goans do not keep the momentum going by
questioning each and every step of theirs in this investigation , this case
too will die its natural death.
Wish Churchill , babush, victoria, sardinha, faleiro , could come out in
solidarity towards this case, i recall Goans came out in large numbers
showing expressing their solidarity during the Language agitation and some
were shot, and if my memory is not weak i do recall that a politician had
pledged that tributes would be paid every year to those who lost their lives
during the agitation , wonder if the pledge is being fullfilled?
Don't waste your energies on MOPA , or getting money making portfolio in the
cabinet or pulling down this Govt. let's do something as one strong
fraternity of this state.
