Hi Jose
Surely, the vast majority of Indians who have emigrated in recent years and
still do, have done so on Indian passports whether to the Silcon Valley USA,
London/UK, to Canada as engineers, doctors or whatever, or to Australia/NZ.
The proportion who migrated with Portuguguese passports would be miniscule.
I really wonder if you have misunderstood me about the point I made re
using an Indian passport to leave India to work abroad if necessary. I have
myself come across so many Indians recently, who have obtained work permits
to work in London. They tend to have specific expertise, often in business
and IT, which is not to be found among the newly incorporated EU citizens
from Eastern Europe many of whom apart from dentists and doctors, tend to be
the much needed proverbial new plumbers and bricklayers and sales staff in
the big stores.
Cornel

Your Indian passport is absolutely fine for this and you may get a lucky
break well before your Portuguese passport gets to you>

I truly wonder IF Cornel's assumption is accurate. Please vide the
