Easter Sunday, 16th April, Goenkarancho Ekvot organized a Gala Event on the lawns of Goa Sadan, New Delhi for Goans living in and around Delhi and their friends. The Chief Guest for the evening was Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Pratapsingh Rane. The Directory of Goans in Delhi and adjoining states was presented by Suman Kurade, President of Goenkarancho Ekvot. The evening was filled with music by none other that Seby, on occasions joined by some of the families for a song or two. There was tambola which is the usual crowd puller, games, folk dances by Goan children and mandos by Ninette Sharma and group. This was followed by dinner and dance. The programme was compared by Benny Pinto. But the greatest attraction as usual was the Feni Cocktails for the ladies mostly while the men I guess drank it neat or however it is meant to be drunk!
