Hi Alex, I recall reading of some Jesuits in Afghanistan, in the Society's Indian journal called JIVAN. Not sure if it was a lone member of the Society or some wider presence. Could you check with some member of the Jesuits? I'm sure they would have some directory (or year-book) listing all their institutions with contacts. Sorry for not replying to your earlier mail! FN
