The other members are Member Secretary of Women Commission, Member Secretary of Goa Rehabilitation Board, Dr Meenakshi Martins and Joint Mamlatdar Sheru Shirodkar. Two lady constables who were present at the time of the demolition of the Baina red-light area are also members on the panel. On Tuesday, the deputy collector held a meeting of all the above members except the member secretary of the Goa Rehabilition Board. The president of the State Women's Commission was also present. The State government will give financial help to the tune of Rs 1 lakh to commercial sex workers who are displaced. There are applications pending for financial help with the Goa State Women and Child Development and Rehabilitation Board.
