Elisabeth, People who migrate do so because they are looking for work. I have yet to hear of any study recording poor migrants bringing along criminals with them. On the other hand, I have heard politicians repeating over and over that immigrants are "bad." Just like Ambassador PDD, these politicians know that if they repeat their statements consistently, some people will begin to believe them.
