Aghe, Nustekani, tujem padd poddom ghe.. Other day we went to Panaji Fish Market. I started from one end and my wife started from the other end to get the best fish/bargain. As I was about to buy a vantto of five mackerel per Rs.50 , she signaled me from the other end showing her six fingers. I immediately rushed to her and bought the Vantto of 6 mackerel for Rs.50. It was only at home where we found out 3 out of 6 mackerel were completely gone off. The fisherwoman (the Goan) skillfully put/displayed those 3 spoilt mackerels under the other 3 good ones. What is this ? Goans cheating Goans ? Shame on Goan fisherfolks How you do that ? How your conscious allows you do that ? If we were staying around Panaji like before, I or she would have gone to confront her (nustekan) then and there. However, I immediately released my typical Xirap saying..
