Our homes would have been an ideal heaven if only we had to develop positive
attitudes in our day-to-day dealings. The relationship between husband and
wives would have been very good if each husband and wife had to chalk out
their programme positively. Today wives shout at the top of their voices
that their husband makes them slog between the office and the kitchen. They
know very well that the wives are in a better position to attend to cooking
than husbands even though we husband may claim we are equal to wives as far
as cooking is concerned but God has given our other half a better asthetic
sense in every thing they do at home. A particular husband when on holiday
would love to read books or newspaper while his wife wanted him in the
kitchen. She knew her husband could not cook anything but would attempt but
she found cooking boring and had she to grumble there would be a big fight
which she always wanted to avoid as her husband in the past would walk out
to her sisters house in anger and stay there for few days till the time he
felt a deep craving for his wife. She did not like this to happen every now
and then and so the positive way is to call him in the kitchen make him sit
and they would both gossip or he would tell her the important news in the
newspapers. The husband did not like his mother in law but the wife would
positively tell him to drop him at her mothers place and request the
husband to sit in the car while she would visit her mother but in the end
the husband too would come to the house and sit and talk for hours till the
wife told him to quit the place as it is getting dark and they have to
return home. Wives should remember that the ego of man is the most sensitive
part of him and so it has to be handled with care
