Well Cecil, if you think these points are worthy of
discussion why don't you start the discussion?

It's funny how you never tire telling some of us that
we shouldn't be preaching from pulpits in the US, yet
feel these points forwarded to you by "someone of
Indian origin in the US" are "worthy" of discussion.

Eloquence should never be mistaken for substance.
While the points are eloquently stated, they are
fear-mongering half truths.

This paragraph alone reveals the authors total bias
not to mention a loose interpretation of facts.

EXCERPT FROM PERSON OF INDIAN ORIGIN IN US
It is not clear how all this will play out. But I
> am afraid the worst
> possible outcome, namely a Muslim majority in India,
> is not the least
> probable, and may even be on the cards if current
> demographic trends
> continue unabated.
END OF EXCERPT

How on God's name can you expect Muslims to become a
majority in a land of roughly 600 million Hindus as
per the last census. Even with all the help of Allah,
could Muslim not pull off such a feat and to fear this
as the "worst probable outcome" is bordering on the
ridiculous.

There is ofcourse the possibility that you didn't
understand what the author was trying to say. Just as
eloquence often gets mistaken for substance, talent
often gets mistaken for maturity.

Cheers,
selma
