Anjuna Beach- Wednesday Flea Market

I think this popular market existed for at least 25years now (I am sure our
Domnic Bab, also
Anjunkar, would say a few words on the popular Anjuna Flea Market).

I remember visiting the market about 20 years ago.
Small group of foreigners come together to sell their own products such has
used cameras,
RayBan, watches etc. I also remember seeing some foreign tourists selling their
own home/hand
made sweet dishes. They would offer us thus saying 'Try this, nice, very
nice'.
I also remember seeing a few lamanies.
One had to be there early to get the best (imported second hand goods).
The whole area was small and one could visit the whole market say in about 15
minutes.

Today, it seems one would require at least 8hrs to visit the whole market
which is spread all
over, from the beach to the fields.
Almost all are non-Goan stalls/vendors like Lamanis, Kashminris, Nepalese etc

Almost all stalls selling/displaying identical items/products.

And if one visits the other popular seasonal nite markets like Mackies's
Saturdays Market
Arpora, Ingo's Market etc one would see the same things/stalls as Anjuna Flea
Market
