Dear Santosh, Perhaps my response was cryptic. What I meant was you are far too young to have delivered me.
My parents made the choice to leave Goa for the Arabian Gulf when I was but a wee baby. I had no say in the matter. They faithfully remitted money every month of their thirty years there. Every holiday they brought back clothes and food to other children in the village who had naught and made donations to people who needed them. When they retired they faithfully returned to Goa and set about becoming socially and politically involved in the community they live in. I'm very proud of the choices my parents made both for themselves and their children. I don't doubt their loyalty to Goa nor do I doubt mine. As for the comparision with Gilbert, he is a respected oncologist while I am but a mere haus frau. best regards, Selma --------------------------- --- Santosh Helekar <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Selma, > > There was one baby girl that was so eager to get out > that we were certain she would get out of India at > the > first opportunity.
