RESPONSE: I had a Honda Motor bike many, many years ago - used to go
to work on it and save a packet in fares.

My kid brother-in-law - pain in the neck cried and asked me to take
him round the block. Since I was not married at that time and trying
to impress my present wife, I took him round the block and got stopped
by a Policeman. I got booked and had three penalty points on my
licence besides a fine. The reason, that the passenger's feet did not
touch the foot pedals. In Goa/India it is perfectly safe ? and allowed
for women to ride pillion.....no way jose in the U.K.! Also helmets
are compulsory.
