Even if the elephant and snake charmer stereotype of India had crept
in a photograph in the BBC news story, did it detract from the story
in any way?
If the pedophile stories have been done to death in the local media,
how come the instances are still prevalent enough to warrant a BBC
newscast?
Are you comparing the local and national media to the BBC?
