"The records of telephone calls made by Vishwajit Rane to the then Town and
Country Planning Minister, Babush Monserrate, reinforce the suspicion that
Vishwajit, in collusion with the Monster Rat, brokered mega land deals.
THE RECORDS of telephone calls made by Vishwajit Rane from the landline and the
mobile phone number registered in the name of his wife, Deviya Rane, in the
possession of the Goan Observer reveal that between February 7, 2005 and
December 31, 2006, a total number of 241 calls were made by Vishwajit Rane to
Babush Monserrates mobile number. The calls were made from Vishwajits
landline number 2465801 and Deviya Vishwajit Ranes mobile number 9822588626 to
Babush Monserrates mobile number 9822100010. Besides the telephone calls text
messages were also sent from Deviya Vishwajit Ranes mobile number to
Monserrates mobile number."
