Excellent post by Victorbab to set the record
straight! I wish more people with his kind of
knowledge and experience would expose the lies and
machinations of communal-minded entities in this
public forum.
The mentality that thrives on stealthily infusing
communal sentiments into politics is worse than
bigotry. We have seen it on display in the past in Goa
and in India with the BJP, and in other parts of the
world with their own ideologically driven governments
and their supporters. This mentality is no different
from the one that insinuates Hussein between Barack
and Obama for disdain-filled political effect. It
deserves nothing but the most severe condemnation.
