Contact Rosario Fernandes - [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I do not know how many members of this forum had access to the booklet distributed for the guests of the Republic day Celebrations, this year, in New Delhi. I read it because my aunt attended the celebrations whilst on holiday in New Delhi and it was with great surprise that I read a reference to the "Great Past of Goa" when referring to the parade of Goan houses, with typical western architecture (Portuguese). It was also mentioned that the Goa state representation in the parade this year was better than in previous years. It looks like 2007-India recognises that the colonial past in Goa was not bad after all... They mentioned that Goa had a great past to refer to the typically Goan Portuguese type of Architecture. Anyone else came across this booklet and wants to share his/her opinion?
