Once for a class debate with the topic Should Goa get state hood or not in
1964, the speakers including myself all spoke of rotten government and
criticised it thoroughly while speaking against the proposition. Finally the
teacher Fr.Fortunatus stroking his bead said "Fest eka santachem ani sermao
sanglo dusre santacho. We all felt like fish out of water. I began the topic
on catholic schools with a small message "Can't we have our own board? can't
we join a good board " and the defence went flying high and reached a point
of no return and so many accusations and nick names etc etc from catholic
schools to catholic churches and clergy bogos saiba. what is the topic of
discussion and where is the \line drawn for discussions? mea culpa
