Deng of China may have heard of the Goan disaster of
61 therefore he elaborated the One Country Two Systems
model for Macau and Hong Kong which is supposed to
last for 50 years.
In my opinion this system is functioning with a few
hiccups. No full democracy is allowed at the moment.
Incidentally there are a large number of chinese
learning Portuguese and drinking red wine which
Portugal can not cope with.
