With regard to the recent international markets setback, wonder if
Carmo's two lads Jonathan and Jason correctly forecasted the sudden
plunges in the Shanghai and other Chinese Stock Markets and the
consequent reverberations in the rest of the World including Dalal
Street.
If he did that, the worth of the forecasting software must needs have
gone up hundredfold from Carmo's valuation of 50 mil USD before this
occurrence.
Now if the same program could somehow forecast the Manohar Parrikar
win in the Goa May 2007 elections, the D'Cruz sofware would be as
widely distributed in Goan schools as the infamous Parrikar VCD. Then
there would be no need for Goan youth to work hard to pass the IIT
JEET (joint entrance exam) or leave Goa for foreign employ, as they
would become rich folk from just playing the markets.
However, things as they stand, require that our Carmo continue with
his rants about the Goa Gaon Goon Chors and his raves of the unique
talent of Parrikar to leave aside all the other problems that Goa
faces and direct itself to making the Goan student body a success on
the IIT entrance scene and as a bonus, the conversion of the Corlim
plateau or the Mormugao peninsula into a California Silicon Valley
lookalike.
